The Writer on the Side Podcast is a show about writing your book while working a full-time job.

Umm, What’s a Podcast?

A podcast is like a radio show that you can listen to whenever you want (on your phone or computer).

Podcasts can be about different topics, such as Business, Education, Art, Politics, or Hobbies.

And each podcast is made up of a series of episodes that are released over time (daily, weekly, or monthly).

The Writer on the Side podcast is published on a bi-weekly basis (once every 2 weeks), and you can listen to the episodes anytime after they’re launched.

People usually listen to podcasts while driving to work, exercising at the gym, or doing chores around the house.

They’re a great way to make use of downtime and learn something new.

Ok, how do I listen to the Writer on the Side Podcast?

There are several options to listen to the podcast. Here are a few common ways:

Option A: Listen on your iPhone
Option B: Listen on your Android Phone
Option C: Listen directly on the Website using your computer

And here’s a description of each option.

Option A: Listen on your iPhone

If you have an iPhone, here’s how you can listen to the Podcast.

Step 1: Open the Apple “Podcasts” app that looks like this:

Note: This is an app that comes pre-installed on your iPhone. But if you can’t find it, or you accidentally deleted it, you can re-download it from the App Store.

Step 2: After you open the app, tap on the Search icon on the bottom right and then search for Writer on the Side.

Step 3: Scroll until you find the Writer on the Side podcast, tap on it, then click on the Subscribe button

Note: Alternatively, a faster way to do steps 1-3 (if you’re reading this sentence on your iPhone), is to click on this link, and the podcast app will automatically launch and take you to the Writer on the Side podcast screen.

Step 4: Tap on “Available Episodes,” then scroll to the bottom to see the first episode “001 Introduction to the Writer on the Side Podcast” and tap on the plus (+) sign to start listening

Step 5: You’re now subscribed to the Writer on the Side Podcast and will see a new episode pop up every time I publish one – check back often!

Option B: Listen on your Android Phone

If you have a Google Android phone, here’s how you can listen to the Podcast.

Step 1: Using your Google Android phone, click here to install the “Stitcher” app from Google Play (it looks like this):

Step 2: After you install the Stitcher app, tap on the Search icon and search for the Writer on the Side podcast.

Note: Alternatively, a faster way (if you’re reading this sentence using your Android phone) is to click on this link, and the Stitcher app will automatically take you to the Writer on the Side podcast page.

Step 4: Click on the “Subscribe” button.

Step 5: You’re now subscribed to the Writer on the Side podcast and will get a new episode every time I publish it. Scroll down to listen to Episode 001 of the show.

Option C: Listen directly on the Website using your computer

Here’s how you can listen to the Podcast using your computer browser.
